About Zelma

A native of Chattanooga, Zelma earned a doctorate from the University of Tennessee, taught graduate classes at UTC, and worked as an Individual Development Specialist for the Tennessee Valley Authority. She began a full-time consulting business in 1988 in which she has served a wide range of manufacturing, government, healthcare, and business clients, including the National Park Service, where she has worked at the Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island, Thomas Edison, Yosemite, Glacier National Park, numerous other parks, and with two confidential Washington, D.C. groups. She is certified in the application of Myers Briggs Type Indicator®. Zelma writes and publishes in the area of psychology for normal people. She is zealous in finding easy, practical ways to enable individuals and organizations to enhance their effectiveness.

Her daughter, Victoria, earned a Bachelor of Arts from Georgia State University, teaches art, and works as a metalsmith in Atlanta. Victoria’s son, Skyler, is eight and is Zelma’s favorite client. With a wide range of interests, Zelma enjoys travel, reading, art, music, entertaining, and anything in nature.
